Enhancement Services We Provide

To maximize the efficiency of the patient's immune system and his/her natural defenses against cancer and disease, we seek to provide in our out-patient program the best possible combination of specific vitamins, minerals, enzymes and other non-toxic substances. These factors are administered along with proper diet, cleansing and psychological counseling. We try to help the patient make such changes in his/her lifestyle as to minimize all negative influences on the immune system.

This program is not intended to replace whatever conventional treatment may be indicated. Our immune enhancement program is sometimes administered in conjunction with conventional therapy. This combination usually reduces, and sometimes even eliminates the toxic effects of chemotherapy or radiation, while enhancing their positive effects. Thus our immune support program can be complementary to traditional methods. Each patient is encouraged to become an active participant in his/her care and is urged to learn as much as possible about alternative methods. Of course this does not mean that ours is completely a "do it yourself " program. Whatever specific program is designed for each individual must be under the direction of a licensed physician.

Facilities

Our clinic is an out-patient facility only, so patients must be ambulatory. Patients should be prepared to stay 3 weeks. An average of 3 hours per day should be set aside for intravenous infusions and other out-patient procedures. Upon arrival, our patients undergo a complete medical history and physical examination, along with a review of all previous medical records. All medical records should be brought with the patient. Initial examination includes laboratory work, with particular attention being given to evaluating the immune system.

Manner of Payment

For optimal results the usual stay for cancer patients is a minimum of 3 weeks, and the initial deposit for this care is $7,000, payable in advance. There may be some variation in cost, up or down, depending upon the mode of treatment selected. Care for each patient must necessarily be individualized. Arrangements are to be made to pay in the form of cash, traveler's checks, VISA, MasterCard, personal or cashier's checks . Care in excess of this deposit must be paid in advance. Any unused payment will be refunded upon the patient's departure. Laboratory tests done outside this facility are not included in these charges, nor are the costs of food and lodging.

Reno Integrative Medical Center does not accept insurance as payment for services, nor does it submit claims to insurance carriers. Patients will be given receipts suitable for submission to their insurance carriers upon payment of our services rendered. This clinic does not participate in any insurance programs, government or private.

Please be advised that some insurance companies do not consider alternative treatment to be "standard" practice and therefore, depending on your individual policy, may not be reimbursed by your carrier.
